Cromwells Brasserie & Rooms

Dating from 1400

Nestled in the heart of Cranleigh High Street, just a short five-minute stroll from the village car parks, Cromwells Brasserie & Rooms occupies the historic Oliver House, one of Cranleigh's oldest and most distinctive buildings, with origins dating back to the 15th century. Rich in character and heritage, yet thoughtfully appointed with modern comforts, Cromwells offers a refined and welcoming retreat for both locals and visitors.

Begin your day with a freshly prepared breakfast, or unwind with a speciality tea or artisan coffee accompanied by a selection of homemade cakes and freshly baked sweet and savoury delicacies. From 11am, our brasserie serves a carefully curated collection of wines, spirits, and draught and bottled beers, perfectly complemented by our seasonal lunch menu, with an evening menu served on Friday and Saturdays.

At the front of the property, our charming south-facing courtyard provides a delightful setting in which to savour a morning coffee, enjoy a leisurely lunch, or relax with drinks in the afternoon sunshine while watching village life pass by.

Whether you are visiting on business, exploring the beauty of the Surrey Hills, or attending a local occasion, Cromwells Brasserie & Rooms offers an elegant setting in which to dine, stay, and experience the very best of Cranleigh hospitality.
